I need an easy to follow diet(for people with not a lot of time for meals), cheap, and that will drop fat quickly. I am going to the police academy in about 5 weeks, while there I wont be able to lift a lot so I figured I might as well drop some bodyfat since I cant be big Ill be cut up. Any suggestions?

What's your diet like now? why can't you workout in the academy? that should be opposite, I know you can......
what are you stats? what is your food availability?

Ok my stats are 23 years old, 5'5", 175lbs, 13%BF. I cant lift at the academy because there isnt a weight room. I mean of course at the academy we will be running, pushups, etc but no lifting. I may be able to lift one day a week when I come home for the weekend but thats about it. My diet as of now is hit and miss as of the last 2 weeks. I was more on a diet to maintain what I had. 1g Protein per pound, 250+or- a few grams or carbs per day, and 20-40g of fat per day(mostly flax). As far as food availability down there it will be freaking sandwiches for lunch and dinner and who knows what for breakfast BUT... We are able to eat breakfast and dinner where ever we want. I will be eating a steak or grilled chicken down the street for dinner every night and for breakfast I will most likely choke down a protein shake. I will of course be able to take some protein shakes before bed. So I guess I am looking at maybe 4-5 meal available. At least three of them I can regulate but at lunch I will have no choice but to eat what is provided.

Basically, your goal is a diet right now...try this:

Meal 1:
3 whole eggs
2 slices bacon

Meal 2:
30g protein+1 tbsp. flaxseed

Meal 3:
4oz. steak
1 cup veggies (green)

Meal 4:
same as meal 2

Meal 5:
same as meal 3

Meal 6:
same as meal 1

Basically it's a boring diet, but you can buy the food in bulk and it will be fairly cheap. Or you can do tuna+mayo 6x a day.
