Mr.X - Help Diet

Hi....remember me?

5'6/141lbs (today) I want to get cut and build up some but not become big....kinda like Bruce Lee if you know what I mean.

Can you recommend what the hell I should be eating.

Here was my diet today:

GNC Whey Choc. Shake
Banana

Regular Oatmeal
Apple

Chicken Breast 8OZ
1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
Diet Coke

Small Salad
Turkey Breast 3 slices
Salad Dressing No Fat Low Carb variety

GNC Whey Choc. Shake
Cranberry Grape 1 Cup

Chicken Breast 6OZ
1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
Spinach/Broccoli
Diet Pepper

GNC Whey Choc. Shake

100 OZ of water over the day.

I've taken your advice and have gone the HIT route when training and I like it - thanks.

Did you know that Bruice Lee workout about 3-4hrs out of the day, just a trivia note

Can you recommend what the hell I should be eating.

GNC Whey Choc. Shake
Banana
drop the banana, add 1/2 cup oatmeal w/ some protein

Regular Oatmeal
Apple
add some protein, like 5 egg whites and drop the apple

Chicken Breast 8OZ
1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
Diet Coke
drop the cottage cheese, add 3-5 cups of steamed veggies

Small Salad
Turkey Breast 3 slices
Salad Dressing No Fat Low Carb variety

GNC Whey Choc. Shake
Cranberry Grape 1 Cup
drop the grape/cran juice....add 1 tbsp. of flaxseed oil w/ the protein

Chicken Breast 6OZ
1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
Spinach/Broccoli
Diet Pepper
drop the cottage cheese, add 1tbsp. of olive/canola oil to the spinnach/broc salad

GNC Whey Choc. Shake
add 10g fiber to day (psyllium husk)

100 OZ of water over the day.
increase water to 120-130oz.

I've taken your advice and have gone the HIT route when training and I like it - thanks.

What kind of diet is this, I mean does it have a particular name? Is it a cutting diet? Sorry lots of questions!

Didn’t know Bruce Lee worked out for that long, I’d have thought that working out so much would be detrimental?

LOL...not every diet has a name, this is just a high protein/low carb diet. As a side note, I'm assuming you take in 40g protein from the GNC protein shakes.

Yes, that's why BL was so skinny and death looking.....

Thanks again. I guess I'm after eating a variety of food over a course of the week...so a high protein will do?

On the training side then 4 day split and cardio 5 days - does that sound appropriate?
 
How long should one stay on this diet? Also, by when addid the carbs back into a diet is there a concern for fat/wieght gain?

The cardio part will be fine, so will the training.

Well, you have some pretty high goals, you have to stay in as long as it takes to achieve them. Adding the carbs back into your diet is no problem, you're doing it the right way.
