a 750, you will just be pissed you didnt get a 1000
gixxers dont run high, you can prob get best deal on those, especially in fl.
get a bike trader (if available in your area) get an idea on similiar bikes, then get what you want

I don't want to get into an R1, I'm already afraid to ride in the first place.. I think I want to keep it at a 750.. plus I don't want to spend that much for a 1000, insurance rates rape me

get yourself a honda bro, yamaha is too twitchy and you can easily dump it turing corners esp if your riding a gal. 03 R1's are realy torquey...

lol I'm a young guy.. r1's are WAY too expensive, insurance wise w/ me.. plus I'm looking at spending no more than 6 grand.. aren't r1's like 10?

theres someone selling an 04 R1 with some cosmetic damage for like $6000...its got maybe $500 worth of damage...so youd have an 8,000$ bike for like 6200-6300...hes asking 6K$ but will take less

Depends on what you would want.
If you want something that is not insanely fast, looks like a crotch rocket, has some weight to it to feel more stable on the road then get a Honda VFR. Insurance is cheaper, they are extremely well made bikes.

I remember suggesting to you on where to start looking for bike deals in your area a while back.
