give us good motivational quotes that you know. ones that just make you want to lift as hard as you can. quotes that will help you stick to that diet. just for fun.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
No pain, No gain.
Just do it.
Or, picture the hottest broad you know going to her knees in awe of your perfect physique.

" I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he hold dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious."

....Vince Lombardi

I came across a quote in an interview with Bill Kazmaier. I can't remember it exactly, but it was something like this:

"For anyone who wants to figure out who was the strongest of all time, you just can't do it unless you were there. You have to stand in the arena, see the lion charge out of the gates, smell his breath, look into his eyes...I looked into Sigmarsson's eyes, I looked into O.D. Wilson's eyes, and I saw wild animals."

The part about wild animals always does something to me mentally.

Thought I posted, buy maybe not

I have a series of quotes I wake and live each day by. so I guess you could say I have a different one for each day of the week and then one quote that helps me stick to anything that I truely want

The Power of Belief:
"Believe in yourself. You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face... You must do that which you think you cannot do"

Do it now:
"Sometimes there is no next time, no second chance, no time out. Somteims... it's now or never!"

The Courage of Integerity:
"The highest courage is to dare to be yourself in the face off adversity. Choosing right over wrong, ethics over convenience, and truth over popularity... These are the choices that measure your life. Travel the path of integrity without looking back, for there is never a wrong time to do the right thing!"

Challenges:
"A bump in the road is either an obstacle to be fought or an opportunity to be enjoyed... it is all up to you."

Improvise:
"There are two ways of meeting difficulties. You alter the difficulties or you alter yourself to meet them!"

Effort:
"The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra"

Success:
"You are truly successful when you can look back in forgiveness, forward in hope and up with gratitude!"

I am not for sure who those are by but I usually apply those in each individual day of the week. However I have some more w/ authors

All human actions have one or more of these seven causes: chance, nature, compulsions, habit, reason, passion, desire. - Aristotle

Animals feed; man eats. Only the man of intellect and judgment knows how to eat. - Brillat, Antheime

In life, as in art, the beautiful moves in curves. - Bulwer-Lytton, Edward Robert

My manner of thinking, so you say, cannot be approved. Do you suppose I care? A poor fool indeed is he who adopts a manner of thinking for others! My manner of thinking stems straight from my considered reflections; it holds with my existence, with the way I am made. It is not in my power to alter it; and were it, I'd not do so - de Sade, Donatien Alphonse Francois

Weakness is Death - Swami Vivekanand

Maybe someone can gain some inspiration from those! I like them!

This is, hands down, the best motivational thinking of all... for me at least. I have used this method for as long as I can remember.....

Have the courage to live. Anyone can die.

Death is not the greatest loss in life, but what dies inside us while we live.

A man must not swallow more beliefs than he can digest.

A self-made man worships his creator.

Behind every great man is a woman with nothing to wear.

Every man must do his own growing, no matter how tall his father was.

Growth is the only evidence of life.

The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

The man who has no inner life is the slave of his surroundings.

Hate the sin and love the sinner.

We lie loudest when we lie to ourselves.

When a man is wrapped up in himself, he makes a pretty small package.

Millions say the apple fell, but Newton was the one to ask why.

Modesty is the practice of withholding from others the high opinion we have of ourselves.

He dares to be a fool, and that is the first step in the direction of wisdom.

A man is only as old as the woman he feels.

Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.

Many of the insights of the saint stem from his experience as a sinner.

The will to disbelieve is the strongest deterrent to wider horizons.

When a man does not know what harbor he is making for, no wind is the right wind.

There is no meaning to life except the meaning man gives his life by the unfolding of his powers.

The deepest personal defeat suffered by human beings is constituted by the difference between what one was capable of becoming and what one has in fact become.

A neurotic is the man who builds a castle in the air; a psychotic is the man who lives in it; a psychiatrist is the man who collects the rent.

You grow up the day you have the first real laugh - at yourself.

Man cannot remake himself without suffering; for he is both the marble and the sculptor.

Every man is a fool at least five minutes every day; wisdom consists of not exceeding the limit.

We can be knowledgeable with other men’s knowledge, but we cannot be wise with other men’s wisdom.

I quote others only to better express myself.
