What keeps you motivated between cycles?

This is a topic that is not covered often enough.
But we all know that there are those among us that lose steam between cycles...
Some people reduce their training significantly when they are "off".

Some people reduce their training significantly when they are "off".

My motivation comes from seeing how much I can gain before my next cycle starts. If I can maintain the majority of my gains after pct, my goal is always to get back to or above my best on cycle in terms of strength.

That's a clever way of looking at it.

I've noticed that even though my energy levels drop after a cycle, my strength pretty much remains the same.

Never tried to test my max strength off cycle though.

Good idea!
 
What has motivated me the most is after many years I have realized that the AAS is just a supplement , it's not the be all and end all of training , I still improve off cycle I still get results , and that keeps me training and training hard , to be in the best shape possible when I start the next blast phase means my results will be that much better , I am not spending the first 6 weeks getting back on shape

Good points.

My biggest downer is the reduction in energy and longer recovery time between sets when off cycle.

Yes this does suck but you gotta take that into account and adjust your training volume accordingly.

I def. agree with this... When im on cycle, i feel like i can just walk around the gym and hit every machine possible set after set... But when im off, energy is completely different.
I use small doses of NO when im on, as well as no creatine. I feel like when off the naty supplements have a part... You have to take the right supplement off cycle and should continue making gains... I do add 2 more exercises when on because i dont feel i hit it enough, and make sure to sleep.
I also cheat a bit more when on cycle, because i take advantage of my body using the extra calories, so when off i have to be a bit stricter.

I'm pretty much always in between cycles bc I'm fairly new to the game and don't or haven't ran many...So I'm pretty much always in between cycles except for right now.. Just started and Beast kickstart Test Cyp Cycle..... But Music, people (family, friend, ex girlfriends, people who say I can't do anything), supplements, and how I feel when I take the shirt off.. haha.
