More 1-AD Results...

Started using 1-AD for the first time on Monday the 19th. I am using a very conservative cycle. For the first week, I consumed 300 mg/day. This coming week will be 400 mg/day.

Stats: 28 yrs. 6'. 178 lbs. 9.2% BF.

Never used prohormones or steroids.

Currently consume between 180 and 220 grams of protein/day. Use creatine, glutamine, and ZMA.

At the end of the first week, no side effects have been noticed (no headaches, no painful urination, etc.). Today's workout is the first where strength seems to have improved (but is possibly a placebo effect, I don't know if it is too early to attribute it to the 1-AD).

I will post results at the end of each week.
 
By the time you work up to 500-600 mg a day, you'll have definately noticed some strength and size gains.

I'm 1 1/2 weeks off cycle now on 6-OXO and my strength has not gone down one bit yet, in fact, it's still climbing in a few lifts.

Oh, by the way................up the protein intake to like 260-280 a day, your body will make good use of it right now.
 
I read through your post on your cycle and gains. You mentioned that you went up 14 pounds overall. Any idea as to your lean/fat ratio?

When you were around 700mg/day, any side effects other than lowered libido?

Have you tried doing a 1-AD cycle without stacking the 4-AD?
 
End of the second week. Have been using 400 mg/day. Intaking 180 to 200 grams of protein/day.

Strength has definately improved. Much more noticeable on some exercises than on others. I had to stop in the middle of one set in order to check that the weight that I was using was correct. I couldn't believe the improvement.

Still no side effects. Making sure to consume with food and plenty of water.

Will use 500 mg/day this coming week.

Weight is now 183. BF increased to 10.8%.

Gained 1.6 pounds of lean mass and 3.4 pounds of fat mass. The poor ratio of lean to fat is probably due to the increase in appetite (which is tremendous) as well as concentrating on consuming higher amounts of protein than normal.
 
How are you measuring body fat so tightly? Anything other than hydrostatic weighing is very inconsistant. I'd like to see your results using the scale, a tape measure, and pics. I think those are much more reliable indicators.
 
I agree that there can be a large margin of error with skin calipers. This can be reduced with an experienced technician and calibrated equipment. Fortunately, I have access to both.

I do feel that the BF% is pretty accurate. I'm basing that on changes in abdominal definition.

Not quite sure what the ratio of weight gain was. From what I observed though I appeared to gain more water weight than fat, because within the 1st week of post cycle on 6-OXO I dropped about 6 pounds of water weight and tightened up in a hurry.

Libido was the only noticeable side effect. I thought my nips looked a little puffy, but that was only water retention as it turned out, cause they are fine now.

I've never tried taking it without the 4-AD. I think next time I might try stacking with "Boldione", maybe this will result in a little less water retention this time, since a drop in libido doesn't really bother me much if I'm not getting any at the time anyway :lmao:
 
Do you think it will work well unstacked??? and can u check ur oxo bottle for exp date, i wana know the shelf life. thx bro.

how effective is the 1-ad alone, not stacked with the 4-ad. I saw the 1-ad for 33.99 from supplementhq, but they dont sell any 4-ad products, and would like to order from just one place. Im thinking of doing what gsxr1000 did, start at 300 ed and go p 100 each week till 700.
 
End of the third week (actually Sunday was). Now at 600mg. per day.

Up to 185lbs. Have not remeasured body fat yet.

Loving the strength gains. Am extremely impressed. Also, looking thick and receiving compliments from others (people are noticing a size gain).

One side effect has appeared-
frequency of urination has greatly increased. Not only that, but when I feel like I need to go, there is no waiting- I have to practically sprint to the bathroom. I'm not sure why this immediate need to urinate is occuring. A buddy of mine who is on the same cycle has complained of the exact same thing.

I would like to get some feedback from others who have had this side effect.

Also, my sleep cycle is definitely being interrupted. Obviously from having to get up in the middle of the night to urinate, but also having trouble falling asleep (I haven't had this problem for years). I also find that I wake up during the night for no reason or because I'm sweating profusely (again, my buddy who is using 1-AD has mentioned these night sweats as well).

Overall, I'm loving the 1-AD.
 
Here's the latest...

Still around 185. No obvious change in bodyfat (based on appearance of abs). Strength is still climbing. Strong hunger hits out of nowhere, when it's time to eat I better get something in me or I'm miserable. Still pissing like crazy. Have not had any of the headaches or burning in the throat (acid reflux?) as others have mentioned.

I'm definately a fan of the 1-AD and will do another cycle later in the year. Next time I will go to 900mg per day at the peak, but wanted to be conservative the first time. The greatest physical gains were to my shoulder girdle (traps, delts, chest), but I'm sure everyone will respond differently.

One side effect that I'm not happy with- I've had a small amount of acne. I'm going to relate it to the 1-AD, but it may be due to the warmer weather and the increase in body temp (and thus increase in frequency of sweating).

A friend who has used AS on many occasions previously is currently coming to the end of his first 1-AD cycle. He went up to 900mg per day and held that level for at least 2 weeks. He told me tonight that he was very impressed with the 1-AD especially as an over-the-counter product.

There's no doubt that 1-AD works.
 
I did 1ad for 4 weeks

wk1: 400mg day
wk2: 400mg day
wk3: 600mg day
wk4: 600mg day

I put on about 15 lbs (very little fat) with some added water because I started up creatine too. after the cycle ended I started ECA and dropped 10 lbs mostly all fat/water. Im the most ripped ive ever been at 190.

Anyway, there are some concerns about 1AD, im mainly posting this for the newbies or anyone considering taking 1ad. there ARE side effects.

i noticed mainly:

-a little acne (barely noticeable)
-thinning hair (not good at 20) - I even used spironolactane, and minoxidil, will hope it thickens back up eventually.
-increased appetite (good for bulking)
-headache (ceased after 1st week)
-strange urine smell, it would smell like the food I last ate (beans), had me concerned about my kidneys and I almost stopped taking it.

Im still comtimplating whether I should cycle again before I go to the beach. The risks are pretty high and I'm not sure if its worth it.
