Well I made a thread on xbox.com which is Microsoft's main site. I explained what happened and asked how I could go about returning the check and those assholes locked my thread!

Oh after that shit, I'd cash that fucker for sure, but don't be surprised if they hit you with a bill for $140 down the road if they ever balance their books.
They may never notice it Considering how they phuck PC users over every year they come out with a new OS, it wouldn't phase me a bit. I've been angry at them ever since they stopped supporting Windows 98.
Here you go, cash it, put it in an ING savings account, forget about it. If they come looking for it, give them the $140, you keep the interest
Long story short, I sent my xbox in to be repaired. Paid via credit card.
Well shortly thereafter Microsoft announces they are extending their warranty and thus all repairs will be free and people who already paid will receive a refund check.
Well my next credit card statement I noticed they took the charge off my account. Cool. I didn't have to pay.
Well yesterday I ALSO receive a check in the mail for the price of the repair. ($140).
It's obviously a mess up on their end. Now I am an honest person so I want to return the check, but at the same time
I AM NOT calling Microsoft, waiting 20 minutes on hold only to speak to Mohammadizabedeb and then get transfered a half dozen times. I get very angry having to call customer support.
Yes snail mail. I only see the bank name and address from which the check is from. I'm sure there is a bunch of hoops to jump thru to get this straightened out in the proper manner.
After them locking my thread on xbox.com I am cashing it. That's rude on their behalf.
