Mods, everyone: about karma problems

Once again I hate to use this space on the anabolilc board for this, but many of you know that there seem to have been some problems with giving out karma.

It seems that sometimes when good karma is initially given out, the recipient sees bad karma and is docked point(s). I know this has been a problem with me and at least a few others. Many have complained that they had recieved bad karma for stupid reasons, when actually it may have been intended as good karma. Other said they had a comment like "good post" next to bad karma, which shows that it was supposed to be good karma but for some reason ended up as bad.

There seems to be some bugs still to be worked out, but I e-mailed George about it and he got back to me and said they were going to look into it. Some of you may remember my other post on this a couple of days ago and there were a lot of people that said they were having problems and I e-mailed that link to George as well.

I ask you to keep this in mind when giving out karma and when you recieve bad karma from someone, as it may have been intended as good. Might want to keep this bumped until we find out what's going on.

You're positive that the circle is not grey instead of green? Because grey just means that the person giving does not have 100 posts, and therefore it won't count as points.

Just making sure this is not what people are seeing, because I originally thought that it was bad karma, but it isn't.

Yes Nimrod i've gotten 1 red and so far today 5 greys some saying good going..or back at ya.... definitely some bugs!!! currently i'm at 199 and these darn greys are killing me!!! LOL!!! RADAR

I have made it a point to leave my name and a comment when giving good karma, but I'll admit, the one time I have given bad karma I didn't leave my name. Just a comment. I don't want this karma thing to turn into a "get you back" schoolyard game where everyone is trying to get other people removed from the site by giving bad karma for some personal issue.
But I agree, that at the very least, a comment should be left with either good or bad karma.

This karma thing is the stupidiests thing, I've ever seen on bbs board. WTF, is it kindergarden???
George knows that newbies will come here, no matter what, simpy because Elite pops up in most searches, but he obviously doesn't care about the quality of the board, that's why when you look in Archives and read any intelligent post, the author is not here anymore, as a rule of thumb.

He e-mailed me and said he was going to look into it. That is as far as the karma is concerned. I don't know about your stars bro'.
