I went plat years ago to support the site. I didn't go plat to use it as some sort of justification for pushing the rules. I didn't see beng plat as some sort of invincibility factor that let me do whatever I wanted. Some people seem to think that way.

People abusing the bomb system are doing just that-- abusing a system set up to have plats help out with spammers etc. Abusing that system is different from mods or admin giving a little punishment to say "knock it off".

I am a paying member at my gym. Just because I'm a paying member, I am not entitled to throw things at non-paying guest members. Nor am I allowed to run around the gym in muddy boots screaming and generally being a pain in the ass.
