Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sushi

Don't know. Never ate sushi.
 
Tried it once cuz an ex loved it...and i spit it out in a towel...thought i was gonna barf..he got a kick out of it tho lol
 
spicey tuna is good....so is eel

friday I had Tekka don sashimi special - which is basically just a whole bunch tuna sashimi.....over a bowl of rice. the dark red tuna is my favorite.

I love sushi. I HAVE to eat it at least once a week if not twice.

Thanks for reminding me Velvett, now I know what I'm having for dinner tonight.
 
You guys should really give it another try(those that don't like it).

The concept of eating raw fish grossed me out at first, but it's really a mind thing.

The key is to know what the texture is going to be like.

Once I explained to a friend that the "slimey" stuff in a california roll was actually alvacado and not slimey fish, she ended up loving it.

Now she loves sushi.

I agree, it took me about a good 4-5 times before I actually aquired a taste for it. I think people automatically hate it before they even have it is the fact they hear "raw fish".

Right there, they're grossed out.

Now, this shit rules!!

I like salmon better than tuna, but tuna is my 2nd favorite. There is a sushi bar in the supermarket I usually shop at, so I pick some up almost every time I go. :)

I just had sushi for the first time last night. I'm in love with the spicey tuna and the california role. I had a peice of yellow tale. That was pretty good too!!! You know that dressing they use in Japenses Restaurants? I bought a bottle of that for my salad at home! YUM!! That's some good sh......LOL!
 
I loooooove sushi, especially with a few sapporos. Eel is good, salmon eggs are good, I like most sushi. Their is a sushi buffet were I live, good shit...

I don't know which is my favorite 'cuse I usually just order a bunch of different stuff with out knowing which is which, except for sashimi.
 
so i have to eat someing that tastes bad 4-5 timesbefore i start to like it...

this is just like smoking...
 
I lived in Japan as a kid but never ate sushi. I developed a taste for it later in life.

My favorite is saba (mackerel and also the first name of a member here at Elite! :o)

Then maguro then salmon (I think it's saki in japanese).

You guys ever had nattomaki? That shit's da BOMB!
 
My college just put in a sushi bar in our main eating area, but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet. I tried sushi once before and turned an unattractive shade of green according to my mother. Maybe it was bad sushi, but I am weary of trying to turn green again for right now. Maybe later.
