Try a brewing store. Or is there is a local brewery ask what they do with keg they no longer put into service. A lot of times they send them to a steel recycler so there is another place to locate and see if you could get one before the chop it for melting. Or you could break up a local frat party and just take it. As a last resort you could always try and mission impossible one from a liquor store or brewery just don't get caught.

you could just ask the dudes at a beer distro. BUT I think they aren't allowed to sell of give you them though since they have to send them back to the companies and whatnot if they are newer. see if they have old ones

im trying to get about 4-5 of them. so lets see you take about 125is for each keg mulitply by 4-5 that equals - 500 to 625 dollars......... no thanks.

I thought I had heard King mention getting some. Something about going behind a bar where they set the empty's, and offering the guy like $20 for it? If not King, then someone on the boards said that. (I'm being serious this time, X.)

I would like some, too. But haven't pursued getting them yet.

King has a friend that has a bar... He got one from them for $25 after they emptied it maybe he could help you out. It took a while for him to get his but it's worth the try.
