MMA vs Karate

I don't really see that as a demonstrative sign that Karate is lesser than MMA. It just so happens that the Karate guy was just way too cocky at the beginning of the bout, and then when it came time for the real deal he pussied out and waited until he shot for him. Either way though, sweet vid. I enjoy seeing the cocky bastard get his ass beat into the ground.

I think MMA is better then any style that sticks to one subject (striking or grappling) because it is mixed
but one big deal, no matter what the style is it's worthless if you dont get someserious spar time
if you trained mma style technique with no sparring and went after a Kyokushinkai Karate guy 10:1 you'd get KTFO

wow owned. that looked like it almost broke his neck. i think if you are going to fight in a no mma style fight, then mma traing is better then one single form of training. you would be fighting opponents from many different backgrounds and would have to adapt. like Bruce Lee said, "be like water".

Never was a fan of Karate too much, maybe cause all the schools in my area are bullshit though.
