MMA gyms around the gulf coast?

hey guys, i'm looking for somewhere to train well actually get into MMA. i have a strong grappling backround. looking for a place aound the gulf coast. MS or around the border of MS/LA or MS/AL...thanks guys

Hmmm....there was a MMA school in Long Beach, but I've not been done there since Katrina did its damage. Let me see....

No, can't seem to find anything immediately. Actually, your best bet would probably be to check out the base and see if there are some guys practicing. A lot of the military is taking a MMA approach to their self defense training. You ought to be able to at least find something kickboxing-wise down there to compliment the ground skills.

I wish I could remember, but its been about 3 or 4 years. It was either in Long Beach or Pass Christian.

I forgot to mention that Hattiesburg might be another good place to look if you can make the ride.

I'll keep digging over the weekend, make some phone calls, and let you know.
