mL to dL conversion?

Powerbuilder333

Timeout? No, timeouts are for Plats
How much is 46ng/mL after converted to nL?
What is the normal range testosterone levels for adult males?
Thanks.

The male body produces between 2.5 - 11 mg/day

As far as the conversion goes is n = nano? ie 10^(-9)

then 46x(10^6)ng/nL is the conversion

note: ^ in a^b indicates a to the power of b

That didn't help much.
I need the first paragraph in ng's. I can probably find that answer myself.
Are you saying 46ng/mL is equal to 460ng/dL? If so that would be a helpfull answer.

1l=10dl
1 dl=100ml
1g=1,000mg
1mg=1,000,000ng

In your first post u said: "How much is 46ng/mL after converted to nL?"

The answer to that is 46ng/ml = 46 000 000ng/nL

In your Title you were asking the conversion to dL

The answer to that us 46ng/ml = 4 600 ng/dL

My drug test came back 46ng/ml. Assuming that converts to 4600ng/dl, wouldn't that be a incredibly high level?
My T/E ratio was 4.0

it takes 100ml to equal a dl. therefore it is .046ng/dl

Normal plasma testosterone 6-9 ng/ml

nmol/L x 28.8 = ng/100 ml

ng/100 ml x 0.0347 = nmol/L

How much is 46ng/mL after converted to nL

Your units are not very clear, and they are important.

Reference ranges can vary from lab to lab.

Testosterone levels in nmol/L are from about 10-35 nmol/L

Your T/E ratio was in a blood or urine test? Usually this is done in urine.

The testosterone to epitestosterone for most people is usually at a ratio of 1:1 (approximately). A level above 6:1 indicates steroid use.

Thanks for your reply Science Lady.
It was a urine test collected 19 days before it was received by the lab (Aegis), and took 13 days to complete. This seems peculiar to me, but it's my first sports related drug screening, so I don't have much to compare it too.
Is it possible a urine sample will chemically degrade over time?
The reason for that question is I was guilty of using Boldenone, Methandienone, Nandrolone, Oxymetholone, and Testoterone, (and Trenbolone which wasn't screened), but only the Nandrolone tested positive - and since it theoretically could have been a OTC supplement, and my T/E ratio of 4.0 is normal I was given a "pass" on the test. It was also commented that my Testosterone level was normal, or slightly elevated.
My Testosterone was 46 ng/mL, and my Epitestorone was 11.4 ng/mL. My Specific Gravity was normal - whatever that is?
I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm baffled at how I could run 3g EW of gear and still "pass"?
I was having to many positive effects, and side effects to believe it was bogus gear.
Thanks again Tatyana, any additional insight will be appreciated.

Yes, you could still pass, depending how long you have been on the cycle.

I did find one paper that did this exact test, giving men steroids (can't remember which ones), and they passed this test after erm, 6-10 weeks.

They are thinking of dropping the T:E ratio to 3 in the IOC, and they are looking at new parameters, like routine and serial blood tests on 'natural' athletes, and then the same for those that use.

It would have taken so long to test as they normally 'batch up' these tests as they are usually run by HPLC (high pressure liquid chromatography), and it is time consuming and fairly expensive.

As far as degradation or bacterial action for contamination/formation, I think the formation argument has won a few court cases.

I am sure I have some notes from one of the association of clinical biochemists lecture I went to.

This is a notoriously difficult area in clinical biochem, even just measuring testosterone has a number of problems...............however, this has been the case with a number of analytes, and then some clever cookie comes up with a solution.

Consider it a gift right now, and if your job depends on it, be more cautious in the future.
