I have been taking the mangosteen juice supplement for the last 6 months for a herniated disk in my back. It has done wonders for me. I was able to continue playing football in addition to running track and lifting weights. It is an incredible anti-inflammatory and the best part is its all natural. I suggest anyone who is in pain to consider taking a mangosteen supplement.

I've seen adds around town for people selling this stuff. Seems like an Amway type of pyramid sale product. I'm highly skeptical.

The anti inflammatory compound is what?

NSAIDS and corticosteroids did not help your herniated disk, but a fruit juice did?

Any studies backing up the claims?

what are ya doin, a sales pitch or something? sounds good. I've never even heard of it though. i wonder if it would work on my shoulder?! it's cool that it worked for you thoguh. good luck

If this is an advert I'll lock this down but while i can see some natural compunds having anti-inflammatory effects, fruit juice being more successful than NSAID's or steroids?

just go to pubmed.com and type in mangosteen, there is a bunch of info about the different healing properties of the mangosteen. I found out about it from my chiropractor. I was just asking about homeopathic type healing and he told me to try it out.
