Minor lower back pains/need advice

Hey guys today ive been having some back pains in my lower back. I used to be that guy that never did legs or abs much but i have been working on them and being better about it and dropping weights off the excersizes.

im 21 years old so im thinking i can recover easier at this age and what im trying to do is catch my legs and core up with everything becuz i think i have built muscle around my core and it cant support as well as it should.

I know this is kind of obvious and i feel stupid and embarassed and its hard to post something like this but i just really want to avoid permanent injury to my back and i dont wanna be the guy that needs surgery later on.

I really need some advice/tips

ive started training these used to be neglected areas which is a start but sometimes i get worried anyways...

please help :)

well maybe go with less weight -- or take another look at your form -- either way take some time off that lower back to get it better --

I used to have serious lower back problems -- all my life though -- hot tub remedied that one though for good so far:)

Ok yeh I know my form is pretty much imaculate. I always make sure my form is pretty damn good and if i cheat it might be something very minor to get the last rep occasionally but i dont always do that.

Im thinking becuz ive neglected my core and my legs so much that i put on muscle around them making them sore.

Im gunna take ur advice and go lighter but consistant and keep form perfect

im also getting a hot tub soon so thanks for the input i appreciate it :)

sometimes i think oh shit im done for ya know? ive learned so much and become a smarter trainer recently in the past few months.

Strengthen your Core... front sides and back..
Stretch your hips and lower back "Every day"..

google for some good floor back stretch stuff.

Before you lift always warm up, especially your core. Situps, back extensions, etc untill you start sweating. Light weight overhead squats, start with a broomstick then empty bar when you're ready, are a great way to warmup your back. You're working it isometrically and forces it into correct alignment so it's good for getting outthe kinks.

If you do any weighted exercises for your core like goodmornings, side bends, leg lifts, etc, save them to the end so you're not fatiqued when you do your main exercises like suats, row, deadlifts, etc.

Ahh ok thanks for the feedback guys. I feel shitty and really lucky that neglecting these two main parts of the body didnt cause me serious injury. But then again having these minor pains has really driven me to get into doing these excersizes for the core. Im just glad i manned up to ask about this stuff and caught it while im still young and can recover very quickly.

Ill be sure to google and do my own research to see what i shoudl be doing
