Minimum days off??

What do you guys think.....have to have a rest day every how often??

Since I started squatting and lifting correctly I'm totally into it like never before.....I can hardly wait to get back to the gym every morning.....on the other hand I don't want to overtrain.

Will I get overtrained just from working out too much in general, or it's ok as long as I have 3 or 4 days between repeating body parts?
 
Try posting this on the training forum, you will get alot more responses there.
But, your question depends alot on the volume and intensity of your workouts..? I know many bro's who work out 6 days a week one bodypart per day and have great results!!! Others (like myself) find 5 days a week is more appropriate, but then Ive been doing this on and off for over 20 years (shit Im showing my age)... Sorry for such a general reply, but there are so many variables!!! Do what you are comfortable with, and watch closely for signs of overtraining.

Post you planned workout routine, like how many body parts/day, etc. Then we may be able to help you out. But as was said there are too many variables just to give a lift/rest schedule.

A big part is going to have to do with your schedule (outside of the gym) and what you're comfortable with doing.
