I called my boy right away and he called mike's mom.She spoke to Mike last night and everything was fine.His poor mom was upset about the rumor!!!Mike is from my area and he knows us well...so no need to worry

He is in a coma and his heart is only pumping at 20%,they can't fix the heart because of an infection in his blood.He was flown to Boston and is critical.Anyone from B-town knows him.My prayers go out to him and his family

WOW I was in that show and i tallked to him a few times that weekend. I am very sorry to hear this. He seemed to be a very nice guy. Did they say what caused it? I will say a prayer.

Gear DID play a part,but nobody knows how much. He got mono,then an infection,and then his heart was 80% blocked...gear and other stuff was part of the problem

As long as his heart is still pumping, he has a chance, though I'm afraid that he may suffer permanent change in his heart from the infection like scar tissue and valve damage. Bacterial or viral endocarditis resulting from mono has nothing to do with gear. I got it from the flu and nearly died awhile back.
