Mid- cycle lab work, WTF?

New member
OK, lab work results are in:
total cholesterol = 101
LDL = 56
HDL= 22
Triglycerides = 115
glucose = 89 (I'm diabetic T2)
blood pressure 110 / 70

Other than the HDL being a bit low I think :D

There was a bunch of other stuff but I don't know what it means. My doc did say that some of my liver tests were on the high side of normal. Overall he said the results were an "A+" .

That helps alot!

lol

what we are sayin bro is that an A+ from a general practioner doesnt mean anything. They will tell you that you are an A+ if you are anywhere within the ranges. So if you are at the bottom of the barrel, (low end of range) they will tell you that you are A+.

If you want us to look at the bloodwork and tell you what your weak spots are, and how to adjust them, then post up the other panels.

I know it is a lot of info, but maybe you can get it in a Word doc or something and copy/paste it.

Also - as a rule you only get 1 liver.... so if your liver function is slightly off, you should know how bad it is and what you should do to correct it.

So if you want some help, post it up. Without the other panels, we cant help you.

Btw - the one you posted - cholesterol is really one of the least important panels.

Oh my, there are two sheets full of numbers. I was looking mostly at the lipids since that's been a weak spot for me in the past. I was a walking heart attack three months ago before the cycle.

It might help to know the background. I am a former competition powerlifter in the 165 and 181 weight classes. I tore both rotator cuffs, had surgery, got addicted to lortab, and quit lifting for a little over 3 years. I basically let my body go to hell. Now I've joined a gym and also bought some home workout equipment and I feel like I'm getting back into the lifestyle. When I was at my contest weight I was sort of lean. My abs showed pretty well. I do worry about the liver but as long as everything is in the normal range, I'm OK with it.

BTW, my cycle started as 500 mg sustanon/week and 200mg/ cypionate every 2 weeks (that's my normal Dr. prescribed HRT.) My second half of the cycle I am switching to d-bol only. I just got 300 tabs of Anabol 5 mgs. I will also continue my HRT doses of cypionate.
