Microsoft Windows must be activated in 4 days???

Uhhhhh.....

I was using my dad's copy of XP to reload my computer.. did it about 3 weeks ago.

Started noticing every day it would say.. 20 days left to activate windows...

kept counting down day after day...

Now 4 days left to activate windows, so I clicked and it says my copy has already been activated too many times.

So my computer is going to die in 4 days?

Is there anyway around this? When were they able to start doing this???????????
