Sweet! Love his old music no matter how crazy he is now.

the last good album and single he made. :artist:

"Off The Wall" was the last good Jackson. "Thriller" was the beginning of the downward spiral.

This album was the second time that I thought the pod people from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" were taking over. The first was when "Fleetwood Mac" and then "Rumors" were released, and friends who used to like rock & roll suddenly started listening to that slick pop crap, it was everywhere. Then the same thing happened a few years later with "Thriller". I think it was the presence of Eddie Van Halen on one song that made it "acceptable" to listeners who should have known better.

oh u mean back in the days he was still a black man?

Tell you what's scary, there are adults today who weren't born yet when Michael Jackson stopped being black.

"Thriller" was a pure 80's product. Just way better than others and thats why he outsold everyone out there. IMHO "Bad" was really the beginning of the end.

Thriller was the last good, and THE best Jackson album. Off The Wall a good second.

For me there's only two absolutely perfect albums, Thriller and Steely Dan's AJA. Way beyond masterpieces.
