Why did Zook pull Ingle Martin?

I missed the first part of the 3rd quarter when Florida built up a lead. I was surprised he left Leak in the game for so long and actually turned to their 3rd string qb at one point.

Miami always does that though...they're like the lakers of college football. Half ass the game for 3 quarters then step it up in the 4th. They did that alot of last year. I can assure you they will be in the top 3 still when t he season is over.

Zook left leak in because he is a very very good player. He was switching between martin and leak the entire game. the only reason he put the third string qb in was for the option play, to get the sputtering offense started again. Leak is going to be a great player , sure he'll experience some growing pains, but to do what he did , to come in in a situation like that and perform as well as he did for a freshman is amazing. granted he didnt get the W but maybe that was just too much to ask from one player to do, especially a freshman.
