I know that high insulin levels will make it difficult to loose fat. What is the rationale of using insulin in bondy building.

Does Metformin (glucophage) help decrease fat just by keeping glucose levels low. What dose?

Insulin as a hormone in the body is utilised to control glucose levels. Insulin will shuttle nutrients (glycogen) into muscles and also is typically used PWO as a means to have the body stop itself from entering a catabolic state by preventing the breakdown of muscle protein.

Insulin can be lethal if you do not know what you are doing and is something that should not be "dabbled" with excepting by those with experience and knowledge.

If you take metformin, no more than 2 pills a day depending on the mgs. Then again if you are diabetic then its a differnet story. Most diabetics take one to two pills a day depending is they are type 1 or type 2.
you will see changes in your body because the pills themslves shut down your sugar craving. Carefull to not bring your sugar level to low, if you are not diabetic though, your pancreas does its own thing in releasing glucose for energy.

I am now on Metformin 1000mg twice a day since my fasting insulin is still high. This is helping me loose fat.
