met my favorite rappers tonight

my fraternity helped host a concert featuring The Pack, who i absolutely love. There were also a bunch of other bay area rappers there including Mistah Fab. I got to go backstage to meet them and get on stage for part of the performance, which was legit.

we hosted the afterparty at the house and surprisingly everyone from The Pack, as well as mistah fab showed up. It was seriously a dream come true and people were chill as hell. One of the members of the pack boned a chick in our basement, lol he loved us after that and said he wants to come back. But after the party ended and we were kicking everyone out, people started getting rowdy.

I saw one of the guys in the Pack (remember the video i posted of the rapper who worked at Karmaloop Boston for a day, and hilariously fucked shit up? and you all said he was a punk ass loser), and i went over to talk to him. When i got there though he was already fired up and says to me "you guys need to get the fuck up off me. The way you guys keep coming over seems really threatening." Clearly other brothers didn't know who he was and had been treating him like a common scumbag earlier. I was too stunned to reply at first, but it didn't even matter because his entourage instantly got up in my face and started threatening me. This is the part I look back on with the most sadness, because I really just wanted to kick it and I should've just been genuine and told him so, but instead all I could do was make sarcastic ass comments that just pissed them off more. Finally the guy from the Pack cuts through again and takes me aside. He is like "I know your type, you are the sarcastic motherfucker who just won't stop until someone comes and clocks him. Don't be that guy." I freeze for a moment and then start to explain that he has it all wrong and I just wanted to chat. Just then one of the guys in the frat jumps in and is like you don't want to be talking shit. The guy from the Pack shoves him, and then his entourage starts beating on him. I jump in to pull people off. Out of nowhere someone punches me in the side of the head repeatedly. I never saw who it was; I guess i was lucky cause i was sort of stunned after the third punch, which hit me in the temple. But after i finished the pulling someone off i was able to duck away and the fighting stopped temporarily.

All in all it was cool night. I got to see my favorite rap group perform live and meet them backstage, and kick it with a couple of them at the after party. I am kind of bummed though because the one i 'beefed' with was actually my favorite rapper of the group. If i was a better socializer I would've maybe had a chill as convo, but instead i ended up in a brawl. I will probably always feel a slight sadness everytime i hear a pack song now. On another note it was really cool watching the rappers spit game. They are just super to the point and have a decent success rate. I watched mistah fab approach and put his arm around a girl i know and tell her "lets see what you can do with that tongue ring," then try to walk off with her to a room. She freaked out and ran away though lol. If i get my hands a pic i got taken with a couple members of the pack ill post it up

ive been in quite a few situations like that (except for the rapper part). certain people want to beat other people up and they are just making stupid statements. if i were you i would of took charge of the whole situation and tell everyone to shut the fuck up and explain who they were and that everyone needs to chill the fuck out.

shit like that isn't worth it and having a good time is what you should of stressed. if i were there no fight would occur. next time take charge of the situation and stop it. your brothers will thank you later.

the party was already over and we were booting peeps. not really any more good times to be had, plus they all knew who i was. I get what you're saying though. I dunno man maybe there's a tone i could've taken that would've worked but it is hard to step up and be the boss in the face of rowdy thugs who are most likely looking to fight
