Mentor(s) Wanted-Anavar

Anavarment

New member
I'm coming in from the dark here and am looking for substanative feedback.

I'm 53 - 6'2"-220#s-28% bodyfat (smile at will) - athletic most of my life (in the gym & on the filed) until I damaged some nerves in my neck last year (C5,6 & 7) As you can guess along with the ballooning BF%; I lost muscle and metebolic effeciency.

I'm ready to reclaim my body. I'm now poised to start a 6-8 week cycle of Anavar... hoping to build some lean muscle, burn some fat and accelerate my metabolism. My goal is to restablish my baseline of conditioning for a vitally active lifestyle. Anavar appears to be a solid, low risk way to jumpstart this endeavor.

Questions:

1) What does the optimum cylce look like?
2) Should I add anything to my cycle?
3) Do I need any post cycle gear?
4) What is the appropriate protein intake?
5) Are there other dietary considerations?

Your counsel is appreciated - Thanks

hmmm that's alot of BF... how long have you been training consistantly?? what's your diet look like?? I honestly would say clean up your diet and get the weight under control and you want to have been lifting for a good while.... at least a year without gear absolute minimum... with the increased strength gains you will also run a greater risk of tendon/ligament/muscle damage as your body is really not accustomed to shoving iron!! protein should be an absolute minimum of 1 gram per lb of body weight an optimum in 1.5 range, yes there are other dietary considerations, like carbs and cals!! if you are looking to bulk you need to be running high numbers there also!! I highly rec you postpone that current cycle and look more towards HRT for the time being!!

I bet you would be great candidate for HRT like he said

Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) - Created by the liver from GH, IGF-1 promotes nitrogen retention and protein synthesis, the growth of new muscle cell (called muscle cell hyperplasia), and mitogenesis (the growth of actual new muscle fibers). In addition, it promotes the development and repair of cartilage and it promotes bone density - making this of tremendous interest to the recovering injured athlete. Of even greater interest is that it is now available by itself from underground labs without a prescription where it was previously only available as a by-product of GH administration. protecting against heart disease. A lot of bodybuilders, especially the younger ones say, "Just tell me how to get bigger!" But, even though I know that a lot of people are interested in IGF-1 primarily to add to a steroid cycle to get more muscle gains, new research shows that you should probably add IGF-1 to your cycle to actually make it safer because of newly discovered cardioprotective benefits. This section shows you how to use it to get bigger and to make your cycle and overall health better.

Mechano Growth Factor (MGF) - This is a new analogue of IGF-1 that has become increasingly more available over the past few months. This article is all about this mysterious hormone that seems to be only whispered in e-mails and PMs on the ‘net. In one study, MGF caused a 20% increase in the weight of the injected muscle within just two weeks! Further investigation elucidated that this was actually due to an increase in the size of the muscle fibers. The implications of this are truly awesome and can help anyone compensate for lagging body parts.

Lr3IGF-1 - This is the most popular type of IGF-1 currently available from underground labs today. It is 3 times more potent than regular IGF-1. You'll learn all about it in this section.

MK-677 - This is the Merck Company's growth hormone secretagogue poised to explode on the bodybuilding scene. This oral compound was shown in a recent human study to cause a 50% increase in natural GH secretion in two weeks of use and an almost 100% increase in GH secretion in 4 weeks of use. In this section, you'll learn all about secretagogues in general and this terrific muscle builder in particular.

SM-130686 - an orally active GH secretagogue (GHS) - This compound will soon become a bodybuilding staple as it works by stimulating GH release from the pituitary and hypothalamus. This imparts a highly anabolic effect not unlike that experienced through natural GH secretion.

Somatokine - This hormone derivative imparts all of the benefits of regular IGF-1, but it remains active in your body for much longer. You'll learn all about it in this section.

Tabimorilin (NN703) - For the life of me, I can't imagine why this drug hasn't found its way into the medicine cabinet of athletes and bodybuilders. Now that this e-book tells you how to use it, it is just a matter of time! When this particular secretagogue was given to GH-deficient adults, it restored GH output within one week of therapy. And when this compound was administered to healthy male volunteers, it increased IGF-1 levels as well! This e-book tells you all about it first!

JUST got all this from the EF mailing list
actually good shit. Hope that helps big dog
GL and be smart!@

At that age I would defintely consider HRT. You'll be glad you did. But if you do not want to go that route, I would opt for having test in my cycle. Most defintely. Give a 10-12 wk test cycle a go to see how you respond to it and if you are happy with what you feel and see, then consider HRT. GH would be another option to add to your HRT at that age.

Thank You BIGTIME to Papa Lion, Holy Ghost & Stressmanl3...

Your mutual consensus of redirecting my current path towards HRT instead of the Anavar makes so much more sense. (I'll save it for a 2nd tier effort.)
Especially, recognizing the ancillary benefits of improved cardio health and bone density thru HRT.

I've been clean (by my standards) on my diet for a number of months... lean proteins (95% whey and poultry), good carbs (brown rice, oatmeal, broccoli, etc.) Zero sugars or white flours. Eating about 5-6 times per day. I've been following the "fat shredder" stage from a workout program called P90X.

I've only been back in the gym for 5 weeks; working to strengthen small muscle fiber and tendons ... as well as, intense pre and post lift stretching. This week moving forward, I'm lifting w/30 minutes of cardio M,T,W, F & Sat and swimming & yoga Th & Sun.

I appreciate your thoughtful comments (and indulgence) in light of the fact I'm so far out of your league. The time you spent answering my post will be put to good use... and hey; every journey starts with a single, first step... right?

I welcome any resources for additional information (sites, books, etc.) that come to mind. (HolyGhost... you gave me a lot of specifics to dig into.)

You're good people... Thnx!
