Mens physique anyone?

I would really really like to attempt my first ever mens physique competition this time next year and I want some feedback on the criteria and judging (if anyone has any insight). I'm 6ft, 210lbs, with around 11-13% bf I would say? I've been lifting for three years now almost four, and I have a fairly clean diet for the most part but I think I really need to tighten up on it to help with bf and symmetry. I'm currently done with WEEK ONE of my PCT. I just came off of a beast/katana cycle and I fucking loved it lol. I don't think I ran the katana at a high enough dose because I don't believe I saw too much difference, but I know it had an effect so I've learned from that.
My plan is wait til mid october to start a bulking cycle and then around may I would like to start with a contest prep cycle as well as diet.
Any comments, advice, or just straight up criticism is welcome bros :)
 
Looks like were in the same situation. Want to compete next year, and currently in my 2nd week of pct. However my cycle was a cutter when I should have bulked but that was prior to finding out i wanted to compete. Anways, I ended the cycle at 5'8'' 175@7%

What state are you competing?
 
Went to my first show tonight. Men physique is almost all upper body, ripped, 6%-8% bf, kinda cheesy posing(not like bodybuilding,more like modeling), but that's what they want. It was the biggest division next to womens bikini.
 
They wear board shorts so legs are not a big focus though calves might. Seemed like the ones that had very well developed back and ABs, yet small waist did well(no obliques). Think old school BB waists but ripped, like s jacked abercrombie and dutch model. Most had decent chests and some good all around proportion. My suggestion if your serious about it to find a coach, not necessarily a trainer, to help you with the all around package.
 
Yah I knew board shorts instead of man kinis lol, well my waist is already a 32 in almost everything. But I think if I can diet down I can down to a 30 I think! And yah I would say my back is my strong point is my back so that's good to hear :) and my chest as well, but I need delts soooo badly and abs. Can You guys give my cycle advice maybe the cycle you guys are on? And a diet

Yeah most had good delts....main thing was extremely low BF....every Ab was showing on most. Also you have to do the dorky smile. The ones that did well in the Pro reminded me of a triangle....tapered down to the waist. Most prob in the 180-200lb range, some smaller.

As far as cycle advice you gonna have to wait for one the more experienced members to chime in.

Yah it's gonna be weird not posing? How did you place, and what kind of diet are you on??

When I said went I mean I was in the audience with my fiance. She competes in Bikini and we went to see some of her teammates compete. I halfass follow the sport recently because of her. She joking wants me to try next year....I might get off my ass and do it but I have to pack on about 10-15lbs of lean muscle. She wants to move up to figure as well.

Ohh haha nice man, well is figure heavier than physique? And can someone give me a fucking diet and cycle plan? Someone's gotta be looking at this other than monster!
 
My precontest cycle will be as follows:

500mg Test E
800mg Primo E
800mg Mast E
+Prop kickstart

Was thinking of incorporating GH but will stick to GHRP/GHRH.

Diet will be 2500 cals @ 50/30/20.

Weights 5x/wk. Stair master 30min first week, bumping up 5min every week, maxing at 60min. Will pin ghrp/ghrh in the stall prior to hopping on the stair master.

Ephedrine+caffeine throughout. T3 final 4-5wks.

Im 5'8'', 22yo, hoping to be 180 @ 5-6%. I ended my cycle a month ago at 175@7% Im using the offtime to pack on a much lbm as possible, however just came off cycle and am in 3rd week PCT now. Thinking Ill mess around with Myostatin HMP, IGF-LR3, GHRP/GHRP to promote off cycle muscle growth.

Two things. It's Sunday so some people may not be on. Also you could try and start a new thread and title it Cycle and Diet help....or something like that. Might get some more attention that way.
