When I worked at Motorola, there was a Jr. Exec there that his girlfriend was like this. She would slap and claw the shit out of him during arguements because she knew he was raised never to hit a woman. He would show up with scabs on his face and throat. When this girl came with him to company functions, I would talk so much shit to her it wasn't funny. I would tell her that she was lucky he was such a nice guy because if I were he, I would slap her teeth into the next week. Eventually they broke up and lo and behold.... karma comes back around. She tried that shit with her new boyfriend (who worked for Motorola also) and he slapped her ass around and put her out of his truck and made her walk.

I ain't got no shame for fighting a woman... If we both spot a hottie at the same time.... Game On Sistah....

I think there's a big difference between self-defense and abuse. Of course a man should defend himself if some bitch starts hitting him -- but I have the feeling that this situation isn't about self-defense.

I've seen domestic abuse up close, and trust me -- it is UGLY. Who knows what motivates these guys. Personally, I think when you get right down to it, they're just sadistic assholes who get off on violence. I can understand that -- getting really mad and then releasing that anger can be quite a trip (I've heard it described as on par with a sexual rush). But that kind of behaviour can't be tolerated in a civilized society. Guys like that need one of two things: therapy; or to be beaten within an inch of thier lives....

No. He was a "nice guy", who was "raised proper". He really loved the girl, but she had that bitch temper that would be set off by her own insecurities. She would show up at company picnics and see the other girls we worked with and how slim and trim they were and then go home and take her insecurities and frustrations out on him.

She got pissed off because he would not 'give' her a job in his department. The company has a policy of workers not supervising someone they were involved with. He tried to get her to accept a better paying position at a distributor, but she didn't see the effort there, she only saw the rejection....

She was just a bitch... he really tried to do her right and help her along and make improvements in her life, but she was just trouble. Now he has a great girlfriend that treats him like gold.
