How often do you men cry? Be honest. I read a magazine article that said the average man weeps once a month and women once per week. This is either wrong or I'm not human. I almost never cry (in my adult life) I cried when our families cat died which was about three years ago and I didn't cry again until the events of September 11.

I've cried twice in the past 10 years. For real. Both times were funerals.

Not much makes me cry except for the usual stuff(deaths etc) and the following...

-any commericials with humane society, handicapped/sick kids
-sad movies. Ya just dont want to watch films like The Green Mile or Shindlers List with me.

Nothing wrong with crying, shows your human.:bawling:

Just recently I cried.......

My daughter jumped up out of my lap and fucking nailed my nose with the top of her head...... I teared up pretty good......

For a 3 year old, it felt like Mike Tyson........ouch

I dont cry much.....last time I cried was three weeks ago when my friend died in a car accident.....but i just did cry when i saw that picture of the teletubbies....those things are pure evil, i swear it

:teleport:

i read the same report. once a month for men & once a week for women.

hmmm. id say 3 times a month. depends on how you define cry. if tearing up is crying then 3-4 times a month.

Maybe I'm not normal then. I've had a few ex gfs tell me that I wasn't emotional enough for them. I'll try harder to cry now.:bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

It seems that either the people here are not average or the writer of that article doesn't know what he (she?) is talking about...

love
Helen

That article did puzzle me. I don't know about the stat for women, but I think crying once a month was a bit high even when I was a kid.

I cried when i came back from vacation in Cancun with like 3 billion hot girls to my girlfriend. She undressed for me and I started wheeping like a baby. I wanted to hop on a plane and go back right that instant. God, my life sucks.

Once a month is pretty often if it is for no particular reason.
For certain, every time I watch "Saving Private Ryan" and "Gladiator". Deaths of family members always but, very strange, it doesn't really kick in until a few days later.

BAHAHAH! Hope you told her you were crying because you were so happy to see her! :D

Whenever something bad happens to me, I just kinda shut down emotionally. Probably not the healthiest thing to do...but it allows me to deal with things logically. I ususally end up getting depressed after a while, but I never cry. I actually don't think I'm capable of crying.

I guess I get a little choked up during emotional movies (bravehart, saving private ryan), but that's about it.

Hangfire, you just reminded me of another adult crying session of mine. Private Ryan had me choked up the first time I saw it.

I cried when my dog died last spring. My girlfriend cries atleast once a week.

shiat....now ya got me thinkng about my mutt, hes getting old :(

When I heard plifter croaked because he had super-AIDS, I cried tears of joy. Until I remembered that he was the powerlifting champion of 1986, then I checked myself and went into hiding.

He had kiltlifters syndrome.

is plifter back? good lord....if so, please refrain from posting any pics of your second belly button again.

thanks

I would say the majority of British of men of my generation cry very rarely - I'm not saying that's a good thing.

In my case - from a very young age I (and other boys I was at primary school with) were repeatedly told by teachers that "boys must never cry" and we were made to feel very embarrassed about it if we did, especially in front of others. I think lots of teachers shared this attitude about (boys) crying at the time.

I don't think I've shed a tear in approx 15 years unless something's poked me in the eye :p that doesn't mean I don't feel sad or low I've just been conditioned not to express those feelings in that way.

I cry when I get emotional but I dont see a problem with it. I am who I am, accept me for me.

But there is always a time and place for everything.

HO SHIT!

I am laughing so hard bout now that I am crying! Who could EVER forget Plifter and his 2" winkie (that he posted pics of) that only got semi-erect!!!

I have cried after an hour of constant pounding and a mind rending orgasm.

in 42 years I've cried over 2 females
one I married (lasted 2 years)
I've teared up over a few films
and as a mortician I've cried at some funerals(you get to know the families)

My eyes will get watery at a sad movie or something.

Last time I really cried was Thanksgiving last year. Before that, probably a few years.

Satanic Goatslayer?!

Where have you been?

And why are you dredging up four year old threads?
