Feed the Children is a great charity.
Our church started sponsoring them back in 99' and I’ve given automatic monthly donations just about that long.

You mentioned impoverished societies and the terrible plight on Africa, don’t forget they take care of those in need right here in the US as well.

So whether it’s a Tsunami in south Asia or a hurricane in Florida, Feed the Children help those least able to help themselves,
our children.

X, Thanks for reminding us there are those less fortunate that need our help.

Yes, feedthechildren is one of the only non-denominational places that helps in the USA as well as worldwide, US has hunger just like the rest of the world. I'm glad you brought up the point.

thank you for your support

This is a cause personal to me, I would like to ask all of you to make a donation to www.FeedtheChildren.org. This is a non profit organization providing food and shelter for the worlds' SUB-poverty societies. Imagine, your gift of $8 can feed a child for 30 DAYS! that's right, 1 meal to you is enough to feed him/her for 30 whole days!

Here is a video for you: Life in an African Slum

Please DONATE TODAY!

thanks
Mr.X

That is an excellent cause...

I wonder, however, how much of the donation goes to feed the executives mercedes?

How much actually goes to the children?

Great Post. As a pre-med student I spent last summer in East Africa, particularly Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. I was teaching HIV/AIDS education in schools and public places. The poverty is unexplainable! The devestation it has caused is more than you can ever imagine! It is definitely worth the time to make a donation. A little funding goes a long way in Africa. Help by making your donation today!

these are the kinds of food charities that I actually will donate too. I personally will not donate to a local food bank to feed people locally who need it because far too many people abuse that food service.
