Melatonin dose

I'f take only one about 20 mins before you wanna go to bed. I use 2-3mg's myself and it works great!

i prefer 6mg
 
I have always used 3mg about 20 minutes before bed. It also helps to start dimming the lights to help with natural melatonin secretion.
 
Thanks for the replys guys. I tried 6mg and it worked really well. Fell right to sleep and feel fine today. I'll try 3mg next time and see if that works too.
 
It varies from 0.1 to 12mg (I know 1 guy who takes 500mg to 1000mg though)

You can't know the optimum dosage for you until you try
 
Start with 3 mgs for about 2-3 weeks go to 6 mgs for 2-3 weeks then take a break for 2 weeks and start over. you build a tolerance fast.

Is it hard to get to sleep for the two weeks off? I don't want to get dependant on it, you know?
 
2 mg here. Start with a low dose. If you go high, you'll have the most crazy ass dreams of your life. If you use it every day, your body will get used to it just like with caffeine and you'll have to bump up the dose.
 
I've tried Melatonin a couple times. But, everytime I do I feel way off in the morning after. Almost intoxicated like. Anyone else experience that?

When I started feeling I needed atleast 12mg I stopped taking it. :worried:
