Measurements

Scotsman

New member
Was bored last night so I got out the tape, here's the results

Neck-19"
Chest-54"
Arms-20" (down 2" due to pesky elbow injury)
Legs-33"
Calves-19"
Forearm-15"
Hair-12" Dirty biker hair is coming along nicely.

Cheers,
Scotsman

No hair jokes, please. Us bald guys might get offended (probably not). Looks good, what about waist and bf%?

Waist is like 44" no idea on the bodyfat probably upper teens. Since I am not into BB I could care less.

As for the hair it was unflexed, and the rest of the measurements are cold/flexed.

Hehe, mine's in the upper teens, with low probability. :)

Impressive hair size.

Sorry man. But no need to clown on those of us who want to be lean. I just thought BF% was a standard reference for everyone to use. I know that my 17" arms at 8%, look way different than my 19 1/2" arms when my BF% is in the "upper teens". And neither measurement has anything to do with my strength.

We obviously have different goals and are bound to disagree in areas, so I don't want to get into anything. I just wanted to clarify where I was coming from.

BTW...I like your workouts posted at your UPDATE thread. Good Work!

You'll find a higher percentage of people on this forum who could give two hoots about their bodyfat. I've seen your before and after pics and can appreciate the work it took to make that kind of change but it's not everyone's goal.

Svend Carlson has a saying of "You don't have to be fat to be strong". He's right but it does help.

That's cool man, I just get tired of getting asked that all the time. I haven't had my BF done in about five years. I have no problem with people lifting to be lean I just wish most people could see that lifting for pure strength is acceptable too.

i actually do care and one day when im relativel happy with my lifts..dropping BF and moving down a weight class or two will be my priority..

till then im having a #4 supersized with a choclate shake :)

I guess we all do to some extent. I was going to say "within reason" in my last post but I'd no idea how that would be taken. :)

I think I'm still in the stage where most of any extra strength is still coming from growing rather than improved neural efficiency but I'm hoping I have a few more years of getting stronger in me before I start to top out in my lifts and think about getting down to a svelte 15-16%.

NO NO NO you have it all wrong, gotta go with the #3 biggies sized.

If being lean helped me lift more weight I'd be lean, if being "less than lean" keeps working that's what I will do.LOL
