THANKS MUSTANG_18 & MANNY 18 FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS &
HELP ON PUTTING TOGETHER MEAL REPLACEMENT DRINKS.

DROZ

Lean body strawberry with 1/2 bottle of cranberry juice and 1/2 water.

Also Isopure Strawberry cream is really good.

I work at a gym man and gotta tell you i think they taste the best and DEFINATLEY sell the best.

Just experiment with different combinations of fruit and protien.

Here are some good ingrediants to mix and match:

`Any protein powder, especially vanilla flavored
`milk
`frozen strawberries
`orange juice
`honey
`yogurt
`grahm crackers
`vanilla extract
`syrup (there are sugar free)
`bananna
`peanut butter
`any fruit

Obviously if you mixed all this together it would be awful, but pick certain ingrediants and mix them together to find flavors you like.

(i love vanilla extract with honey and grahm cracker in vanilla with milk)(also banana with peanut butter)
(strawberries can be used with vanilla OR chocolate protein powder, same with bananas and peanutbutter)

One of the cheapest homemade MRPs I have found is to mix protein powder with Instant Breakfast mix. Use water, not milk. Dont mix milk with your protein, as milk blocks the absorbtion of protein. If you want some fat in that drink, add a little flax seed or olive oil.

vanilla soy milk, 2 scoops desinger whey chocolate, crushed ice, and chocolate chips in a blender.....AWSOME TASTE.

soy milk over milk because regular milk gets air in it when you blend it

I switched to unflavored proteing powder because eventually you get sick of the flavors. With unflavored you can add any fruit or frozen yogurt you want for flavoring and it tastes much better.

I've searched and seen where you have said this twice about milk vs. water BigWil. Where did you learn that from? Anyone else, have knowledge about this matter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I know you are looking for homemade protein meal replacement drinks, but with George putting his Triple Threat on sale right now would people recommend going that route instead of the homemade route? (PS--No, I am not looking for extra Karma from George by posting this, but I am thinking about taking advantahe of his sale to try Triple Threat.)

Im thinking of getting some triple threat too. I want to try v60 also, Right now im drinking LEAN BODY.

Dorian Yates. Listen to his interview with his nutritionist as they were developing his new protein powder. It is basically the best or one of the best on the market.

Triple Threat vanilla is good i look forward to having one.. also i use EAS simply protein when cutting but when i'm low on MRP i'll add 2 cups whole milk 3-4 scoops simply protein along with 2 scoops of breyers Yogurt some Equal to sweeten it and i'm ready to roll......RADAR

no way big will....milk does not block the absorption of protein...milk is one of the best sources of protein...milk contains the enzyme lactase along with amalase which binds to protein receptors making them more susceptible to protein utilization...dorian yates was probably just trying to sell his product...

I thought about making my own but I decided to go with Labrada's Lean Body. They taste good and aren't too expensive if you buy them online.

i was gonna say the same thing....optimum whey is so good and cheap....big 10 lb bag will last you a while...post workout you should try to get about 40g pro and about 100g carb...what i do is take pro immediately post workout with 10g l-glutamine.
then 20-30 min later i drink 100g+ carbs...you really should wait about 20-30 min so your pro has some time to reach the small intestine...then the large amt of carb will cause a hormone(gip) to release insulin into the blood...the insulin will push the carb into the muscle ( just a little fyi physiology)
success

Take 3 cartons of All Whites(pasturized eggwhites) 1 cup of Apple Juice, 1 cup of Oatmeal and 1 banana and blend it all up. Tastes ok but has a hell of alot of calories and protein.

any time:

Ice cold Milk or Water.
3 scoops of Whey powder (around 60 grams of protein)
2 tablespoons of peanut butter.

post workout:

Ice cold Milk or Water
3 scoops Whey Powder
1 Bananas
4 gram crackers
