felt good despite only getting 1 hour of sleep thursday night, and a 1 hour nap friday afternoon before my workout.

DB Bench - 90lb db's x 17/10/8. was shooting for 3 sets of 15 or so.... oh well.

Illegal wides - (index finger on ring) 225 x 5. (felt easy but shoulder is still slightly sore)

Standing Db military - 35lb x 5 x 10.

incline bb triceps ext - 95lbs x 5 x 6.

face pulls - 50lbs x 3 x 15.

feel good, triceps were massivley (sp?) swoll. well, everything was.... these next few weeks are slightly more volume.

Good workout, did you not rest enough between the first few Db sets??? cause that is a big step down, try a little more time in between

dont think it was that.......... think it was just too much weight. it may have been too soon but i waited like 4 minutes between sets, do you think i should have waited more.

i was plannin on doing 80's but then changed my mind at last minute when i picked up the wrong dbs...lol. you live and learn.

the reps seem to jump down too much, so you might have pushed to close to failure. next time try to do some calf raises to get the blood flowing away from your shoulders. Sometimes when I get a pump I can't relly do another set due to inflexability, just a suggestion
 
looks like you had a pretty good workout. set of 17 w/90lb db.....thats pretty impressive. thats alot of weight.
 
LOL, and I was happy w/ my set of 15 today using 50 lb db's.....Exodus you put me to shame ;) . Congrats on the PR!
 
hammer............. thats a good idea, i may have just had too much of an ego though. well see next week.

kingc - thanks.......... im in the same boat you are right now, just trying to build up base strength and gain some weight.

thanks nick. this was my first time in a long time. its just the last 3 weeks of my 9 week program. its to break up the constant maxing. so i will have to tell you when i go to max out in 3 weeks how it does.
