I know i look ugly

dang, how old are you in that pic? you look like a school girl...

CC I hope I am not prying but what changed /caused you to gain weight? I just don't get it now it is hard for you to keep on weight.

Hmm i like the way i look now better

lol of course you do, and you should.

be prepared for dozens of posts about how respectable it is that you were so committed and how admirable it is that you accomplished what so many can't, not just getting back into a healthy weight range but going far and above that. oh and also how you were always beautiful that will be popular

you do look excellent

I admire both men and women who CHANGE THEIR LIFESTYLE so dramatically. I have never been overweight, and it is hard enough staying committed as is without having to overcome obesity.

great job thumbs up

Who said you were fat?? It's normal to be chubby till puberty.......

TheOak01 said:
agreed, but in the end its what inside that matters right?

True, but ironically enough that sometimes requires you to buy them dinner.

It's ironic, or a conondrum, or....stupid or something.
.

It's admirable that you took the courage to post it up, you looked normal there, nothing to fuss about.

The end justifies the means anyway, if you weren't happy with that look, you've certainly done something to change it and that's pretty fuckin respectable. Congrats.

come on bro, you know this aint true. only an ugly person would say this or someone desperately trying to impress a girl. would you date a girl who sits at home and eats french fries all day and doesnt shower because she cant fit thru the doorway? yes, personality is most important, but they still have to be attractive.

personally id rather have a lady who takes care of themselves but bitches at me every once in while than a really nice slob whos constantly saying "honey, would you pretty please pass me the giant tub of ice cream and the jelly beans. thank you so much. your the best."

Thanks for being honest :chomp:

Nice job there CC, haven't seen you currently (except for small Avatars) but its great to make such a lifestyle change, I think its fantastic...

One rule however, once your in shape, you gotta help someone else out that hasn't committed to change yet :)

That's a great rule.

Thanks Velvett,

I try to follow it everyday, I think it would make for a happier world...I find myself seeing severely obese people and wishing I could waive a wand to help them change...I guess I just lead by example and carefully suggest dietary changes. :)

K for that!

I wouldn't hit it.
I'd hit the new CC.

Have you noticed people treat you differently now?

You're cute!

And a beautiful person too!

Props on the change.

The people I hate are the ones that stay fat and constantly complain about it.

However you want to look at it, you've worked hard to get where you are and thats a huge accomplishment.. Most people can talk the talk but can't walk the walk!!! Love the av's too!!! :p

Totally. Its better to have a good body and the pretty face, than to just have the pretty face.

TheOak01 said:

it matters as much as the outside.

They are both necessary.

It pains me to say I think you look pretty hot in that pic.

exactly. I could never date an obese women. no matter how 'nice' their personality is just the thought that they have no respect for themselves is a huge turn off.

I would not have dated myself fat

To a degree "fat" is a state of mind. My cousin is pushing 450 lb, 6 ft tall, 39 yrs old. He's getting married this year. Some people are happy with themselves however they are, some are not. For whatever reasons.

Bet you wouldnt say that if he sat on you ;)

fucking annoying when skinny chics call themselves fat, all about the attention

good job, CC.

I find that I have a hard time giving myself kudos for my previous weight loss accomplishments because I feel I should not have been fat to begin with. Like rewarding a crackhead for giving up the pipe. Do you feel the same? Also, I find I have severe issues with my self-concept. Like i still feel obese no matter how little or skinny i was. When i was 137lbs (skinny for me) I still felt like a 250lb fatass.

True dat. Its a painful topic (well the thought of him sitting on me as well...) because you can tell the guy is not happy and hasn't been happy for most of his life. He deals w/ it by taking a "well my life sort of sucks" attitude and doesn't get involved in much, doesnt' stand up for himself much, etc.

Currently he's exploring the idea of gastric bypass, but when they told him he needed to lose 50 lbs before he would be healthy enough to do it, he spent a month complaining about how he'd never be able to eat steak & pizza again. Obviously missing the point.

But yea, he's done quite a number on my parents' furniture over the years.....

Yeah those people.....along with the peeps that order a Double Whopper, King Sized Value Meal.....with a Diet Coke, and have the audacity to ask the counter girl if they have low carb ketchup.....???..?? WTF

Seriously I witnessed this at lunch.

Well i don't realyl suffer from body issues.. thank god.. because i know how hard those can be.. because of my sister...

It just pisses me off sometimes same ppl who didnt think much of you before.. wanna go out with you now.. :worried:

You are cute and HOT!!! (beautiful too). Congrats for your change!! and keep it up!!!. I personally treat people different when they are fat or they are fit. I HATE FAT!!! Is nasty and if you are fat, that means you don't love yourself. If you don't love yourself, you can't love anybody.

I realize that... i just think it gives you a better aprpecation to live on both sides at least once in your life
