me + cleans = pain . why ??

I started doing hang cleans 2 weeks ago. Problem, my cuff hurt like a mofo after.
I don squat down much to meet the bar, and my elbows stay in. I really have no clue what the hell to do, except bring the bar to my chest. Anybody have some good links. I know it wold be hard to see what Im doing w/o a vid.

Your probbaly racking the bar and putting downward pressure on your arms thus stretching the shoulders, when you in fact should be landing the bar right on your chest - front delts. Right against the throat. Kep the bar real clsoe to your body will help

also widen your grip. Good way is to mark off your thumbs against the smooth arae and us ethat - 3 inches off thd smooth area in other words. This will relieve pressure on your wrist and shoulders.

also only dip down to mid thigh or higher, that will clean up your form. You maybe urpight rowing the bar up, that can hurt your cuffs. Use hip/trap power to thrust the bar up. The arms are just hooks

Explain to me why ... when I go to watch you vids, it's fine, until about 5 seconds into it, when the screen freezes. But the sound keeps going. WTF IS THAT?!?
