:bawling: We've been together for somewhere around 2 years.... I have settled into my career and she goes to school an hour away. It just got hard. I felt like I was neglecting her and hurting her. But it wasn't on purpose. I have a business now and work a fulltime job plus go to school P/T. I loved this girl with all my heart... really guys.... Im not afraid to admit I've been sittin in my room bawlin my eyes out. But its something that had to be done... I wasn't able to give her what she deserves. Life goes on I guess...

No. If you love her the way you do, tell her exactly what you just wrote and ask her to stay with you.

Now go get her cowboy.

GO!

I believe that the heart does go on

i had a date sing that song at a karoke bar once

i snuck out the back before he hit the second verse

reason #4567 why girls should always bring their own car to a date

I've sung "Total Eclispse of the Heart" which, while not as gay, is still quite fagadelic.

Anyone singing karoake to me will be forgotten on the spot.

Why even go to a karoake bar anyway?

I hate being in the presence of karaoke, but at least it keeps the morons off the streets.

As for this thread, I commend you. You did what a real man should do. Don't waste your efforts and opportunities. When you meet someone you like better later, you will be glad you made the decision to make yourself the first priority.

Things'll pick up, bro. You'll get over it like anything else.

You need to seriously think about this. Look at what you just wrote. You know, she probably feels the same way. If you love her, then this relationship is worth fighting for. Trust me, it could be a hell of a lot worse than an hour's distance.

Think objectively and don't kid yourself. It's good to ignore feelings of guilt and sadness, instead concentrating on procuring positive things.

The idea that you won't be able to find another one as good as this one is a compulsive and common way to think. People have attributes. Improving long-term attributes is much more powerful than concentrating on cyclical things.

i dont want to be too conan the barbarianish, but mate, you have life, love, and will. reach out and take what you want in life.

all it comes down to is whether or not you are willing to pay the price- the time, the effort, the occasional sacrifice. if she is worth it, then youll pay, and gladly.

cheers
