The plot is excellent, logical, and very well put together, like you said. There was no focus on love.
How did the architect give away too much information? I thought that what he said fit the plot accordingly and tied up a few loose ends (and also created some).
The movie was not "dumbed down." That is why most average people are having trouble understanding it.
I thought the movie was great. One of the best I have seen for some time now!
much better movie story wise then the first one, much better visuals, muh better action scenes, fun to watch..the only similarity, Keanu Reeves sill cannot act and only hurts the movie and Trinity is FUCKING UGLY
The architect's language is an integral part of his character. "Dumbing it down" as T-boy says, so that everyone would understand what he was saying, would have changed his character. The matters of perfection, free will, etc. by the architect of a society wouldn't go over the same.

How could it not be about love? He changed his "destiny" because he had so much love for Trinity that he risked the fall of Zion just to save her with his superman speed.

I feel that the movie makers already dumbed down the architects lines. If they really wanted to make it complicated, they would have used complicated language.
