Master Decibel

I haven't heard H+K's version of the modelling amp yet, but they usually make decent stuff.

From a distance, the logo looks like it says "Huge Lettuce".

I would imagine that when a Finn walks into a music store, the range of products available is probably somewhat different than what we might find here in God's Country.

From their Ad, look what I have in bold and tell me whats wrong.

Features
4 channels

Digital multi FX

FX Autostore for every channel

100-watt Current Feedback power amp

12 in. Celestion RockDriver Ultra speaker

4-way footswitch included

4 Channels
From shimmering clean to WARP scream, from ‘80s-style lead cream to classic blues-approved sting, the new Hughes & Kettner Matrix amps deliver all the milestone guitar sounds at the touch of a button!

Separate Gain and Master knobs for all four channels let you tweak tones to suit your guitar and taste. And that translates to unrivalled ease of sound-shaping on the fly: In combination with the FX Matrix, you can select four fundamental sounds directly via the channel switches or the included footswitch!

Autostore FX Matrix
With every effect available in perfect quality, the integrated Multi FX processor serves up tasty reverb, delay, chorus, flanger and tremolo. But there’s more on the menu than meat & potatoes effects, courtesy of the Matrix amps’ ingenious Autostore function.

As the name would indicate, it automatically stores the most recently selected multi effect setting for each channel. This means that you can dial in a suitably configured effect setup for each channel and switch among four options at will. Finally, onboard digital effects make sonic sense in real-world application scenarios!

They do seem to have gotten it backwards.

Good thing the ad copy writers don't run the engineering department.

Odd that a German amp sold in Finland would have all English text on the front panel. Don't you Euros have any local pride anymore?

Nothing odd in that. It would be odd if we didn't understand it.

Yeah, English is the true Lingua Franca these days.

I assume that in a Finnish music store you don't walk in and see wall-to-wall Fender and Peavey and Crate amps like you do here. I've heard that Fender are badly overpriced in Europe.

Besides Hughes + Kettner, what other brands are commonplace over there?

So how do you like the new toy so far? Are you having fun with it?

Actually we have the same shit here you have there. Some music stores sells Fender and Peavey amps, and others Marshalls and Crate etc. And also if they don't have something right there and then, they will order it for you.

I like my H&K, but then again, it's my first amp in years. After I bought the Les Paul I had my nephew's 15W Behringer amp for few months, so the only way is up from that. lol
