So he finally admits to talking steroids and HGH, and then says that his home run numbers did not come from taking these,but for having great hand eye coordination. Does anyone believe him ?

The juice definitely helped add to his homerun total. However I think the average fan or sports writer overstates the amount of the benefit. I think that Maris' record would have been broken without AAS. Maybe not by 9 homeruns or 12 homeruns (Bonds) but I do think one of those guys would have hit 62.
if you read ALL the things hgh, steroids, and all the other drugs athletes take will do for you, you'll see the one big advantage from these illegal drugs is the better hand eye coordination.
short hoime runs would have been long outs. better recover time.. etc...
bottom line , its cheating... same way 99% of bodybuilders, strongmen, sprinters, cyclists,football players etc. do.
if st louis has the greatest baseball fans like they say the last 100 years, then hopefully they boo mark mcguire for cheating.
