Finished off with an excellent social commentary. Seriously man, relax. Go have a pint at the pub, whatever. But don't talk about stuff you have no idea about. Don't judge and stereotype people like that, you will be miserable in life.

You find my writing disagreeable? Perhaps you're attached to my ideas out of self doubt? No big deal, people do different stuff. I don't go around telling people how they should go about living- I'm not all that religious. The dominating worldview must prevail because all others are wrong. Two contradictory ideas can't possibly exist at the same time, can they?

Similarly you will be miserable in life seemingly attempting to control personal opinions on the internet. I've got better things to do than sit around wasting my time drinking. There are definitely much better things to do than admitting how I feel isn't good enough and attempting to self medicate.

Very interesting to read. Stevius I can agree with you on some levels, but perhaps it is the stoners you know, appear to be like this, or you are generalising.

As a pothead myself, I disagree with the self medicating part. I don't feel like i'm making up, or even sulking about anything when I'm having a smoke. I'm just opening my mind up, reflecting on my day and relaxing. Personally I don't feel burning plant material, thus relaxing the body, is that much different from drinking a freeze dried coffee bean.

In practice, the times I've gone to the gym stoned have been unenjoyable. Paranoid, and lazy, not really wanting to be there, not maxing out. Afterwards though I think it does have it's place, relaxing the muscles, getting a better mind to muscle connection (especially with stretching) and almost certainly the appetite increase.

I must say though it would take a very strict person to eat very clean when you're munching at such a rate. I know, for me anyway, clean foods get eaten in excess and the cheat meals almost definitly get scoffed!

Anything in excess is bad, it's obvious, even the greatest things. Sex, Food and yes even lifting! Moderation is 100% the key.
