Then, why legalize the herb? Just prescribe the drug to those who need the relief. Then the cops and courts can still bust their favorite grower/user and those who are suffering and dying can get relief.

I agree chesty, I am not a smoker, but the people who want it legalized for medicine always happen to be. Can you imagine some farmer growing a crop of weed for sale to the government? You know how many dumbfucks would be out there stealing it! Why buy it from a store when farmers grow it over a 40 acre plot? That would be chaos.
