in spite of the biatch Katrina, nawlinz is still celebrating the carnival season this year.
as i have FINALLY moved ito the bywater money pit located right past the french quarter; i have been able to "people watch" and observe much more of the insanity also known as Mardi Gras than i have in years past when living out in the 'burbs.
the crowds are smaller than in the past; but just as noisy and joyus as ever. it never ceases to amaze me what drunken yankees will do and expose for a cheap pair of tiwan/korean made beads!
