Nat ana: Dude, stay strong, you will appreciate life so much more once you get through this. I know this doesn't compare but I am recovering from a severly fucked up elbow and even though I am still not back up to speed I have learned to appreciate the little things so much more.

Fonz: we know you mean well but your need to flash your knowledge in front of the board is really annoying the rest of us. All this info could have and should have been sent discreetly via PM or email. I know you did a lot of hard work and have some good knowledge to share but please....99% of us don't need to know or even see that stuff.

The reward lies in the simple act of helping people. Not in showing off how much you did and how hard it was to help that person.

Sorry, I totally agree w/ Fonz on this one.

Of course he always needs to show off, that's his immature nature, get used to it. It's what makes him so much fun to make fun of. Of course many of us could have looked up much if not all of this information, but he obviously spent a lot of his valuable time and effort to try to help out, and I'm sure many of us who read this will store it in our memory banks for future reference. I for one, plan to use some of the info he gave to help with my dad, who just developed some kind of degenerating neuromuscular disease which has thus far eluded diagnosis.

I just accidentally found this thread when doing a search for calcium absorption. Since my mom had lymphoma several years ago I was wondering how this guy reacted to his chemo.

He seemed to be extremely popular but I've never seen him around. I hope this doesnt mean it did'nt go well. Anyone have an update?
