I have marathoner friends. Some are younger than me and already replacing hips and knees and having surgery on this and that. They do seem to legitimately enjoy it though.

Just another way to justify wasting huge chunks of your life. Some people do drugs, drink, shop, etc. I don't get it.

She said "marathon" about 15 times in less than an hour. And whatever turn the conversation took, it wound back up at marathon. Meat heads at the gym don't even do this.
