making capsules question

going to make my own wini caps next month

going to make 1000 10mg caps so ive got myself 11grams of powder to be safe

i have a good understanding in the process of making these

however say i wanted to spice them up by adding a colour.. say i wanted to make yellow wini caps..how would i do it..would i need to add a dye to the filler powder and leave to dry or what??

I guess you can try does dying you powder. If will probably clump up so your going to have to break it back down.

any idea how id go about doing this

mixing in a food dye with dextrose or some filler..leaving to dryout throroughly brake back into dust in a plastic ziplock bag?

Making it harder than it has to be guys... If you have an herb store or the best place is an Amish Store is what I use they have tons of different filler powders I use several for different colors like barley malt (brown), dextrose you can get in white or a yellow, fruit sugar powders also, just make sure you use latex gloves when capping it keep your perspiration from your hands under control. I've been making oral liquid mostly simply because dosed are more accurate and you can flavor them with high quality extract like strawberry, cherry, cinnamon. etc. you just have to know the right solvent that will hold suspension the best..

I find filler cheaper than numerous colored caps but, hey if you have the cash.

You could use something like chocolate protein powder as your filler.
that will give you some color. just be sure to weigh it and calculate it in your
figures.
