Makavelli's cutting diet

Since Omega posted up a really great keto diet, I thought I would put up Makavelli's low carb cutting diet. Both diets are awesome and I truly believe everyone would be much happier with their results on any diet (bulking or cutting) by not taking in so many carbs. The 400 gram per day and above shit is ridiculous. Yeah doc I get 600 grams of carbs, 200 grams protein and 20 grams fat....why is my cholesterol so fucked up? "Must be genetic son. Take some of these Lipitor and make a company rich as hell."

I digress...Mak's cutter:

The only thing I would change is ala to r-ala and flax oil to fish oil and old fashioned oats to steel cut irish oats.

Training Days:

Meal 1: 50g whey, 3/4 old fashioned oatmeal
Train + Cardio
Meal 2: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 30g dextrose, 50g whey, 20g creatine, 600mg AlA
Meal 3: 8oz Chicken, 4 oz yam, 1 T Peanut Butter
Meal 4: Same
Meal 5: 8oz eye of round, 2T Peanut Butter
Second Cardio
Meal 6: 8oz eye of round, 2T PB, broccoli

Non Training Days:

Meal 1: 1/2 cup oats, 50g whey, 1T flax oil
Meal 2: 8oz Chicken, 4oz Yam, 1T PB
Meal 3: Same
Meal 4: Same
Meal 5: 8oz eye of round, 25 g whey, 1T Flax, broccolli
Cardio
Meal 6: Same as 5

It's 2800 cals, about 320 protein, 175 carbs, and 75-80 fat if I remember correctly. You can add it up pretty easily.

If anyone argues with the diet just take a look at his pics.

how well would this work for a contest prep diet? My last one went well but was boring. I want to give this one a try.

also...My buddy had great success with low carb during the week and carb loading on weekends.

Im doing a cycle designed by MAK right now it looks like im gonna try his diet. he def knows what he is talking about!

what was mac's weight prior to cutting? I know he always stays pretty lean.

He was 9% bf and I think this took him down to 4% at 198 or 195. It was 9 weeks but he said he was ready for the shoot in 6 weeks. His cycle was very nice but I'm not posting it because some noob would jump into it. He absolutely credits the 2 a day cardio as well.

He used this for a photo shoot. 9% down to 4% bf. I would think that the 2 a day cardio and lifting would take care of needing to dip into a CKD type of diet. His cycle did include ramping t3 and using clen. As you can guess it was healthy doses of test, tren, winny, eq, and I think a-dex 1 or 2 mgs per day 12 weeks. Proviron too.

Mak's physice speaks for itself for sure.
Incredible genetics.
His pics of his photoshoot were unreal.

Why steelcut oats over old fashioned? Is there a differance?

There is a diffrence in the GI index ^^^

but you can make steel cut oats or lower the gi of rolled oats by soakin them in water the night before... but there are some recent myths about whole gi scale coming to the surface ( i.e carrots high gi.. fructose low gi who gets fat from carrots? fructose can make you a lard ass)

Thanks, I figured it was something along those lines.
Those G.I. tables are always so inconsistent anyways.
I think I will just stick to my good ol' fashoined rolled oats then.

same... plus mixing good fats with good carbs changes the whole scale so ... quaker plain oats for me
I eat them w/ an oz. of almonds and some casein for slower absorption.

They taste better. They have more of a nutty and textured flavor. Not because of the GI. But they are left more intact than rolled oats.

Fructose can make you a lard ass?

Fructose blows unless you are carb loading before a show.

I like Maks diet. Very solid.
I have had great success with high carb approaches and low carb approaches but I feel the low carb approach takes less effort(though I beleive with the higher carb diet I was a bit fuller). and can ultimately be more rewarding.

I have been utilizing some of Palumbo's methods recently. Lotsa veggies, broad spectrum of fats(olive oil, CLA, Primrose, All variations of Nuts, Flax oil, Fish oil, etc) in addition to lots of Salmon, bison, chicken and casien/whey protien mixes. I still have carbs but they are entirely from Ezekial Breads and cereals. Working pretty well. I have been off AAS for about 18 months now and I am a solid 260 @ 10% BF. Cant wait to get back on the Boat.. :coffee:

With those stats why get back on?
Why such the long break?

Do you need to go to a health food store for these.
I only shop at Wal mart and I'm pretty sure they don't carry them.
I'd like to give them a try sometime.

I have a very slow metabolism at 5'7" 245. If I took in that amount of cals(2800). I would be 300 lbs. Does anyone have a similiar diet with less calories?

In that case I would cut some of the carbs and ANPB and maybe substitute fish for the red meat.
