how to mail gear domestically?

i am in el paso for spring break and might go to juarez for some gear. to get it back home i figure i should mail it from el paso instead of taking it on the plane with me. i've searched and really haven't found any info on how one should pack gear for mailing.

oh, and domestic mailing is fairly safe right? no customs bullshit or anything...

um.. no.. customs wouldn't have anything to do with domestic mailing..



just wrap the shit in newspaper and send it priority mail bro.. no worries..

I always used FedEx Priority Overnight.

Don't use a private - go with USPS as Fedex and the like can search at will.

Got a point with FedEx but this was B4 9/11

They may be more likely to look over suspicious packages but a full search is illegal without warrant so your chances of prosecution for Class 3 CS aren't too high. Ask anyone who works for Fedex and they will tell you to never send stuff through them.
