Excerpt from a messenger converstion

es bien bonita, pero lo bueno esta en la avenida principal o sea en el downtown

Hotels: If you go to the Ritz then be prepared to pay at least a good 150$US minimum for a night. Then you have good-average placea like Delta for example, that's about 80$ for a night. Pretty good place. Cheapest ? Humm Holiday Inn, all those hookers' motel, as low as 30$ for a night. Best Montreal is a good hotel, not the best but something very decent.

The area of city: anything in downtown/Plateau-Mont-Royal. Montreal is a pretty big city (almost 2 millions) but as soon as you leave this area then it's either sad and boring or disgusting. We have the metro here so you can reach almost everything quickly. Clubs/restos/movie theatres are mostly located there.

The address you mentionned is in the district of Montreal/west right in front of the Lachine Canal on the limit on the Lasalle district. No Metro really close so you'll need a car to reach dowtown.
