low natural testerone now using androgel?

I am 42yo my natural test level is 1.6 average is 4.6.Is androgel going to help.I am supposed to where on my arm for a month 5mg a day.I finished my third and last cycle of test and eq about 6 months ago.Any info would help.Thanks

Androgel is an approved method of hormone replacement therapy so I would think it will put your test level where it should be. I wouldn't however expect any anabolic results from it.
