I *am* fat (DNP usually works better in the very lean), and had pretty much the same experience at 300mg/day a couple years ago. Oh, maybe a pound or three lost after two weeks, but the side effects were intolerable, considering the results. I was hot, uncomfortable, sweaty, constantly hungry, and it was difficult to sleep. Oh -- make certain never to wear white. Your white sheets, towels, shirts, socks, and underwear (!) will develop faint and uneven yellow stains, which can be difficult or impossible to remove. DNP is secreted largely unchanged in all your body fluids, including sweat.
DNP is supposed to be able to raise your basal metabolic rate by around 30%... but for me, that's only about 600 kcals, or 1lb fat every 6 days. I'd burn the same in an hour of hard cardo, and feel significantly better for it. The DNP just wasn't worth it.
